Much has been written and presented to us about this topic of Self-Discipline.
From the eastern cultures of China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Mongolia, Burma, Vietnam, Myanmar…to the middle eastern countries: Egypt, U.A.E countries then Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, France, Scotland, England, Ireland, Austria, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Greenland, U.S.A, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Peru.. too many labels of patches of earth to mention!!!! We humans like to label and separate blocks of land and space. But the fact is we are all on this one planet. This is a whole separate topic!!
Going back to the main topic, no matter which culture or background you identify with, there are some universal truths.
The key aspects of self-discipline is one such common factor that applies to everyone,
According to author Napoleon Hill, who authored the best sellers and timeless books“Think and Grow Rich” and “The Master-Key to Riches”, there are six factors which we can control through self discipline.
1. WILL.
2. EMOTIONS.
3. REASON.
4. IMAGINATION.
5. CONSCIENCE.
6. MEMORY.
It will serve us well if we learn how to practice self-discipline with each of these faculties. If you think about it, each culture has many lessons and wisdom shared on how we can work on improving each of these faculties with self-discipline.
Also, speaking of universal truths, no matter whether you are a businessman, dancer, artist, fighter, policeman, firefighter, scientist, accountant, plumber, painter, carpenter, delivery driver, crypo-trader, stock trader, engineer, waiter, cook, dishwasher, pilot, mechanic, janitor, oil driller, government official, nurse, doctor, therapist, ..Basically NO MATTER WHAT YOUR JOB OR LIFESTYLE IS, these 6 factors are important and you will flourish if you learn to practice self-discipline in each of these areas.
